When trying to create a cluster by uploading a YAML file into the Kommander UI, you may encounter an error that resembles the following:
failed to update namespace values in cluster objects. cannot use 'in' operator to search for 'namespace' null
Solution
This error generally means that somewhere in your YAML file, there is a "namespace:" key with a null value assigned to it. You should be able to resolve this by checking every object in the file to make sure that every instance of "namespace:" has a designated namespace.
If this does not resolve the issue, please try applying the file via the CLI with
kubectl apply -f </path/to/file.yaml>
